According to me, on my opinion, in my point of view

這幾個片語都是在表達「根據我的看法」、「依我看」、「在我看來」的意思，但它們的用字或寫法都錯了。正確版本敘述如下：

According to 後面只能接別人的意見、看法或說法。若要表示我或我們的意見，則必須使用 “in my opinion/view” 或 “in our opinion/view”。例如：

• According to the students, Mary’s a good teacher. (根據學生的說法，瑪麗是個好老師) (正)
• In my opinion/view, Mary’s a good teacher. (依我看，瑪麗是個好老師) (正)
• According to me, Mary’s a good teacher. (誤)

從上述可知，in my opinion/view 是正確的寫法，on my opinion/view 或 to my opinion/view 都是錯的。例如：

• In my opinion/view it was a waste of time. (依我看，那是浪費時間) (正)
• On my opinion/view it was a waste of time. (誤)
• To my opinion/view it was a waste of time. (誤)
• In my humble opinion, the government made a big mistake. (依我個人淺見/依拙見，政府犯了一個重大的錯誤) (正)

另外，要注意的是，in my opinion 不可跟 I think 連用。例如：

• In my opinion, it was a waste of time. (依我看，那是浪費時間) (正)
• In my opinion, I think it was a waste of time. (依我看，我認為那是浪費時間) (誤)

至於 my point of view，其前的介系詞只能用 from，in my point of view 或 on my point of view 都是錯的。例如：

• From my point of view, the president hasn’t done enough to deal with tricky problems. (在我看來，總統在處理棘手問題方面做得還不夠) (正)
• In my point of view, the president hasn’t done enough to deal with tricky problems. (誤)
• On my point of view, the president hasn’t done enough to deal with tricky problems. (誤)
