You know, you see

在說話或交談時,我們很常使用 you know 和 you see 這兩個詞。

You know

  • Guess who I’ve just seen? Professor Lee! You know – he was highly critical of the president’s energy policy yesterday!
  • Jessica’s expecting a baby. You know, the woman next door!

  • My whole body fell down and was, you know, soaked in blood.
  • The professor was angry at Judy for cheating in the exam, so he walked up to her and, you know, slapped her in the face twice.

You see

  • You see, Mary’s coming tomorrow, so I can’t come.
  • You see, David is the only one of the students that is absent.
  • You see, I think she’s shy so I don’t think she’ll go to your birthday party.
  • We’ll solve the problem but, you see, the service is free of charge, so just be patient!
