動詞know以 S+V+O+C 句型表現，似乎較不常見?
那改寫成“I know a sick girl.”是乎也是通的，合乎及物動詞句型?
也許know這個動詞並非一定要有補語不可，所以也沒有發展出“I know girl sick”這樣的文法吧~(純個人猜測，請別見怪~!)

看了文章之後，有必要重新說明 b. As has been proved, the theory may have practical importance.這句的文法結構。在這句中，as 是當準關係代名詞，其作用相當於 which，是用來代替句中整個主要子句 (而不是某個先行詞)，也就是其後的 the theory may have practical importance，所以這句的原句為 "The theory may have practical importance, as has been proved."，其中 as = which。
須看上下文而定。

這裡的total可以寫成totally嗎？
我用google查詢，totally X years, totally X dollars都有人用，但好像total比較多人使用。
用 totally，因為 6 years 是一段時間，並非累加而成的「總共6年」。若要表示總共，可用當名詞用的 total，如「6 years in total」或「a total of 6 years」。所以，您的句子應用 totally 6 years (整整6年)。

寫完文章後，原參考資料已經丟掉。您可用 “cultural appropriation colonialism” google 一下。OED 會不定時或在年底公布新收錄的字詞，cultural appropriation 是出現在 OED 網站 2017 年初新增的字詞中。
