很好判斷，若將關代和be動詞拿掉、句子還合乎語法，那麼就表示可以省略；若不行則不能省略。
謝謝你的回答。只是我很困惑，因爲這篇文一開始說be 動詞接形容詞通常不能省略（I know a girl who is sick.), 爲什麼我舉的例子（relative也是形容詞）卻又可省略？ 這問題困擾我很久希望可以把它解決。感激！

我用google查詢，totally X years, totally X dollars都有人用，但好像total比較多人使用。
用 totally，因為 6 years 是一段時間，並非累加而成的「總共6年」。若要表示總共，可用當名詞用的 total，如「6 years in total」或「a total of 6 years」。所以，您的句子應用 totally 6 years (整整6年)。

寫完文章後，原參考資料已經丟掉。您可用 “cultural appropriation colonialism” google 一下。OED 會不定時或在年底公布新收錄的字詞，cultural appropriation 是出現在 OED 網站 2017 年初新增的字詞中。
