in terms of/in ... terms 意為「在…方面；從…方面來說」。例句：
In terms of economy, Taiwan is on the decline. (就經濟而言/在經濟方面，台灣正在衰退中)
= In economic terms, Taiwan is on the decline.

this 和 that 後面僅能接單數可數名詞，不可接不可數名詞。由於 medicine 可用作可數和不可數名詞，所以 take this medicine 可以，但 bread 只當不可數名詞，所以 That bread is delicious 不對。

'when'在名詞子句翻譯為'何時'，在副詞子句翻譯為'當...的時候'，在上句中的when應翻譯為'當...時候'，所以是應該副詞子句，但副詞子句不能當主詞補語，但是當名詞子句，when的意思又不對，是句子有錯，還是我的理解有錯呢???謝謝您!!

When 是引導名詞子句還是副詞子句跟中文翻譯沒有關係，而且翻譯並非一成不變。
Bullying is when someone tries to hurt or embarrass someone else again and again.

在上句中， when 所引導的名詞子句當 know 的受詞。

您的句子只有 Whose are the books on the table? 是對的，Whose the books are on the table? 不對。您也以用 Whose books are these on the table? 來表達相同的意思。下面舉個例子當範例，以後依樣畫葫蘆就對了：

寫完文章後，原參考資料已經丟掉。您可用 “cultural appropriation colonialism” google 一下。OED 會不定時或在年底公布新收錄的字詞，cultural appropriation 是出現在 OED 網站 2017 年初新增的字詞中。
