Of which 等於 whose，但當先行詞為人時，不能用 of which，只能用 whose，或 of whom。由於 only two 是指前面那七個人(seven individuals)中的兩個，所以在此用 of which 是有點問題，至於 only two (individuals)是省略 individuals 的結果，原本是限定詞，省略individulals 後就變成名詞。關於 one of whom 是指這兩個女性中的一人，whom 就是 these two women，但這裡不能用 whom，因為 only one 前面有 連接詞 and，所以必須用 one of them。我們可以寫成：
only two were female and only one of them was fertile.
或 only two were female only one of whom was fertile.”

寫完文章後，原參考資料已經丟掉。您可用 “cultural appropriation colonialism” google 一下。OED 會不定時或在年底公布新收錄的字詞，cultural appropriation 是出現在 OED 網站 2017 年初新增的字詞中。
