Apple doesn’t fall far from the tree 是個諺語，意為「有其父必有其子」(like father, like son) 或「有其母必有其女」(like mother, like daughter)。這諺語有時亦寫成 the apple never falls far from the tree。
1839 年，美國文學家拉爾夫‧沃爾多‧愛默生 (Ralph Waldo Emerson) 被認為在美國首次使用了這個片語。不過，他是受到德國一句古諺語的啟發。該德國古諺語的英文翻譯是：”As men say, the apple never falls far from the stem.”(正如人們所說，蘋果永遠不會落到離莖太遠的地方)。
