You reap what you sow You reap what you have sown,其中 reap 為「收割」,sow /soʊ/ 為「播種,種」,其動詞三態為 sow, sowed, sowed 或 sown。
這個諺語比較正式的說法是 “as you sow, so shall you reap” (你怎樣種就怎樣收) 或 “as we sow, so shall we reap” (我們怎樣種就怎樣收)。You reap what you sow Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap.”
- Just watch the way you live your life because you reap what you sow.
- Of course you’re being investigated for tax fraud. You’ve spent years trying to avoid paying them. You reap what you sow.
- We have a motto here that you reap what you sow.
