You reap what you sow 意為「種瓜得瓜，種豆得豆；善有善報，惡有惡報」，有時亦寫成 You reap what you have sown，其中 reap 為「收割」，sow /soʊ/ 為「播種，種」，其動詞三態為 sow, sowed, sowed 或 sown。Sow /saʊ/ 亦可當名詞用，意為「母豬」，但發音與動詞不同。
這個諺語比較正式的說法是 “as you sow, so shall you reap” (你怎樣種就怎樣收) 或 “as we sow, so shall we reap” (我們怎樣種就怎樣收)。You reap what you sow 語出新約聖經加拉太書 (Galatians) 第 6 章第 7 節：”Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap.” (不要自欺，神是輕慢不得的；人種的是什麼，收的也是什麼)。
