滅火器樂團所寫的《島嶼天光》，因歌詞溫暖打動人心，成為學運主題曲，如今這首歌在眾人的協助下，填上英文歌詞推出英文版「Island’s Sunrise」。不同於「島嶼天光」歌詞聚焦太陽花學運，英文版歌詞改以「台灣追求民主過程」為主軸，讓各國聽見台灣人民的訴求與努力。
據「島嶼天光 island’s sunrise」粉絲專頁指出，國際英文版是全新編曲、填詞，非直譯台語版。
